Kelly Apter, The Scotsman

Now that their visits have become an annual event, it’s easy to become complacent about Nederlands Dans Theater 2 (NDT2). When we hardly saw them, there was a novelty to dancers so young performing with such competence.

These days we’ve come to expect it, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive. Aged between 17 and 23, the entire company has youth and enthusiasm on its side. Their classical ballet training gives them a solid foundation on to which contemporary choreographers can build pretty much anything. The dancers’ high leg extensions alone would put some other companies to shame.
